Bodrhyddan Hall, Dyserth Road, Rhuddlan LL18 5SB Saturday afternoon 15th June 2024 “Pots, Plants and Food” A visit has been arranged for members to visit Bodrhyddan Hall in Rhuddlan. A Grade 1 listed property, Bodrhyddan Hall has been home to Lord Langford and his family for over 500 years. With generations of heritage, Bodrhyddan Hall provides an impressive facade, surrounded by expansive gardens, parkland, and woodlands spanning several hundred acres.
With an expansive collection, from North Wales to Ancient Egypt and beyond, the guided tours provide an immersive experience, unlocking the secrets of a rich past. The gardens cover around 12 acres and include a formal parterre, lawns, and a Japanese walk of life. The rugged wilds of the woodland walks were recently made accessible to visitors. The garden is home to a number of native trees and others from further afield, including giant sequoia, cedar of Lebanon and an Indian bean tree. The quiet calm comes to life with the dozens of species of animals and birds, making Bodrhyddan a wonderful setting for nature lovers. We will not only be able to have a tour of the house and access to the gardens but, there will be stalls selling all manner of Pots, Plants and Food!
