Well I am racking my brains for inspiration for the "spring has sprung" arrangement!
Got some nice daffs but not a tulip in sight. I picked up some amazing plants on Saturday. Just planted them all out and now just need to wait for a wonderful display. A couple of unusual finds as well as some that I know are very dependable as they are already growing well in local gardens and have come from . Thank you
Well I am impressed, how did we get tulips entered. My daffs hadn't even made a bud, so amazed by everyones entries despite this miserably cold weather!
We are very sad to hear that Barbara Thomas died recently. A member of the Society for many years, a driving force on the committee and an inspirational gardener. She will be much missed.
Well, can't believe how busy the day was. The photos look grand. Have finally finished planting all the bulbs I bought. Hope the children all enter their pots of croci in the Spring Show. Thanks to the Town Council for their financial support from the participatory budget.
Well I have just ordered a spectacular array of bulbs for the children to plant and to sell on the plant stall. Looking forward to the Autumn Gardening Event.
What an amazing bunch of exhibits, loved the new layout with the veg lit by the afternoon sun and the children's food with the grown up entries. Can't believe the size of the leeks. Thought the book title flower arrangements were inspired. Think Audrey had the best job with the raffle next to the roses, they smelt gorgeous. Good food and perfect organisation with no one seeming in the least bit hassled, despite the amount of work that must have gone in to it.
